​Prior to the advent of COVID-19, Cloud Koru was conceived as a concept that would enable companies to complete a full circle and achieve outcomes in the technology and cloud domains.
 
The term “Koru” originates from the Māori language, derived from a word that signifies a spiral shape reminiscent of a newly unfurling frond from a silver fern. It holds profound significance in Māori art, carving, and tattooing, embodying the concepts of new life, growth, strength, and peace. Its distinctive shape conveys the notion of perpetual movement, while the inner coil evokes the idea of returning to the source of origin.
 
Given that the concept of Cloud Koru was returning to the origin and providing assistance to companies in achieving their goals beyond their capabilities, the Koru symbol was deemed appropriate.
